Hey everyone - kat here!! i actually get to write on our blog while Ben finds us somewhere to stay in New Zealand. Well yesterday was a very interesting day, we got up and headed to Grace Community Church, its John McCarther church!! wow what an experience, we really felt that God wanted us to be at the service, as every step of the way we had help from the locals and every bus just arrived! the servie must have had around 4-5 thousand worshippers. The sermon was excellent and a real encouragement as it was on loving strangers. we met a few people after the service and people we can keep in touch and we got a lift back to the hotel.
After the mornings excitement we thought we would find the beach - santa monica. America is strange (my conclusions) as people just wear what they like and say what they like!! the beach was beautiful and it was very busy. After we had a nice meal out - the first after lots of take aways and fast food. the bus ride back was interesting as we got shouted at by the driver (she wasn't a happy lady!!)
Today is our last day so we are going to find venice beach (where they filmed bay watch) and people watch, then we are going to the airport ready for a very long flight to New Zealand>
I cant believe its not yet a week and we will be on the other side of the world!!
